Andre Angel brings more than 18 years of global management and leadership experience to his role as President and CEO of NTRglobal North America. An entertaining, knowledgeable and sought-after speaker in the areas of contact center and remote support technologies, he oversees the company’s operations and strategic direction for Canada, Mexico and the United States.

He is also Founder and Chairman of Codekko Software, a privately owned company specializing in solutions that improve server and application performance and end-user productivity for Internet-enabled applications.

Prior to NTRglobal, Angel was called upon to transform Expertcity into a profitable enterprise-grade solution provider. Expertcity was later acquired by Citrix Systems.

Angel also served as CEO of ElasticEdge, a content delivery company that solved last-mile problems, enabling simultaneous distribution of content to millions of users. ElasticEdge was acquired by BackWeb.

Over an 11-year career with Nortel Networks he held a series of increasingly prominent management positions. From 1999 to 2000, he served as Global Vice President of Sales, Marketing and e-Business.  He also led Nortel’s $9.6 billion electronic commerce business; served as the CIO of Nortel’s Service Providers, a $17 billion division; and founded and managed Nortel’s Professional Services organization, which grew in revenues to more than $1 billion. Also under his leadership, Nortel’s Alternate Software Delivery program grew to become a business with revenues of $450 million.

A noted concert pianist and fluent in several languages, Angel earned a degree in electrical engineering from the University of Toronto.
